          This book is about a popular girl named Amu. She’s popular, but she always thinks to herself “Who am I really?” or “What talent do I have?”. The next morning she finds three eggs in her bed!!! These are her character eggs and they’ll help her find her talent… And help save there lives!

          This book is pretty easy so I don’t know what strategies I used. Maybe comprehension…? Wait, but you always use comprehension… Oh, I don’t know anymore! This book was easy, OKAY?! \(>[]<)/

Ouran High School Host Club Vol. 1 by Bisco Hatori

        This book is um…very…how can I say…interesting, but it’s funny too. A girl named Haruhi, who is an average person like us, enrolls to a rich school. At the moment she had really short hair and dressed like a boy so…she was mistaken for one… The first day Haruhi went to school she walked into the music room hoping she could get some peace and quiet, but not in this school… Instead she found the Host Club. Now this part sounds really awkward, but the Host Club is a group of boys who have customers wanting to just hang out with them. Yes, that means they earn profit from just that… But the thing is Haruhi gets scared of them and knocks over an eighty thousand yen vase and must repay them by helping with the Host Club. Oh and the Host Club still thinks she’s a boy.

           Well this book had many different words in it so of course I had to define a lot of words… But it was actually fun! Because in this book they love to dress up in clothing from other countries so different language is sometimes used in the content. Other than that it was pretty easy. Man, I love this book!

Strawberry Marshmallow (Ichigo Marshimaro) Vol. 1 by Barasui

       Strawberry Marshmallow is really weird, but funny. The book is about five girls and…well…uh…there’s nothing to explain what they’ll do. It’s pretty much showing there lives, but it’s REALLY random… It’s like one chapter they’ll be bothering the oldest girl and then the next moment they’d be really mad at a certain girl that’s not liked in the book. I don’t recommend this book unless you have a very patient mind because really the book doesn’t really have a point…

           Anyways, on to my strategies. Well it’s really hard to say what strategies I used… I mean the book is really random I don’t know like what to say! Unless you count comprehension… Err yeah I don’t know what to say…

I am Here Vol. 1 by Ema Toyama

I am Here is a great book so far. It’s about a girl who is never noticed until a popular boy starts talking to her. He says that’s he’s been watching her and that he cares for her. Now you may think all things are dandy because someone finally notices her, but not until the the word gets out. Girls begin to get mad that the popular boy is talking to her. And it turns dramatic. I think that people should read it though.

In this book there were a couple words that I knew, but not very well….So I had to take out my big fat dictionary and look up the words. It was really annoying though because it’s like I don”t know what this sentence means until I find that word. But other then that I’m okay because it’s an easy read.

This book made my my tiny flame of cooking grow. Najika Kazami a 7th grade girl is an orphan who lives in an orphanage in Hokkaido. She wants to go to Tokyo so that she may find her Flan Prince who left her a silver spoon. Determined to find her love she heads off to Seika Academy where the spoon is found. But not only is she determined to find her love, but a pro pastry chef. In order for her to do both she cooks amazing dishes so she can get her FLan Prince’s attention. On her journey though she meets Sora and Daichi who are both popular brothers, but total opposites. Could one of them be Najika’s Flan Prince? Find out yourself! Read the book!♥

Yeah I had to reread this one because it had recipes with it! Not only that some foods I didn’t even know so I had to look them up… But they were yummy! (^ w ^) I have nothing else to say, so later!

Mamotte! Lollipop Vol. 1 by Michiyo Kikuta

Another one of my favorites! Now the main character Nina is waiting for her perfect guy. One that’s good looking, kind, and who will protect her. Well one day she finds this marble looking thing and mistakes it for candy. She ended up eating it! Now examinees are chasing after her, but Ichi and Zero won’t let them take her. Ichi and Zero are also examinees and promised Nina that they will protect her. Are these the guys Nina’s been looking for?! Read it yourself!

Okay honestly I read this book so much that I remember every single thing. So I guess rereading is one thing to use. Um, but this book wasn’t really hard except for the occasional words I had to look up here and there… Anyways, I’m out!

Tokyo Mew Mew A La Mode Vol. 1 by Mia Ikumi

I just LOVE this book. Tokyo Mew Mew A La Mode is about a group of girls who get animal powers. While the leader of the girls is off on an abroad a new group comes to attack the Mew Mews. Except what the bad guys don’t know is that they have a new leader known as the white mew mew. They won’t know what hit them. That’s it for now!

In this book I didn’t really have any problems, but they did use a lot of dessert words that at first I had no idea what they meant… >_>’ They were words like “eclair” I was like what the heck does this mean? O-O I was like a deer in headlights. So no problems here. Check you later!

Maximum Ride Vol.2 by Narae Lee

Okay in Vol. 2 Max gets Angel back. Yay~! After they get her back Angel tells the group that they weren’t test tube babies. They actually had parents! Then Max starts getting these crazy headaches that she thinks are her conscience. They start giving her weird messages and give her things she needs. Not only that Angel starts getting new powers! That’s all I know so far. Check back later.~

Hmm for this book I had to look up vocabulary… That’s no fun, but you got to do what you got to do. I had to do this because they used really complicating words. They even used words from different languages! Other than that though it was pretty easy to read. ^-^

Maximum Ride Vol. 1 by Narae Lee

I’m reading Maximum Ride at the moment. Maximum Ride is a story about six kids who were experiments in a “school”. The experiment was to mix human and animal genes. Max and her friends now have wings and are outcasts. Now they must find a way to shut down the school so they can’t do this to anymore kids.

This story was REALLY awesome!!!! I keep rereading this book, but it can’t be helped. ;P I recommend this book to anyone that doesn’t like reading. I mean I don’t really like reading, but I LOVE this book. Um I didn’t have any difficulties reading this book so I can’t really say any reading um helping thingies. Sorry!

        Looking for Alaska is about Miles Halter going to Culver Creek Boarding School. Looking for a more exciting life Miles soon meets Alaska. She’s a girl any guy would want; a skinny, curvy girl with blonde hair and green eyes. Miles becomes deeply in love with her, but he doesn’t know what he’s getting into. Read the rest to find out what happens because I’m not even done with it.

           Looking for Alaska is a funny story. I laugh so much I have to reread to remember what I read. Also a lot of the people in the book are intelligent so they use a lot of vocab I don’t know. So I look it up. The blog will continue when I finish the book.♥
